This project is a case study analyzing Generali Deutschlands (insurance company) Sport sponsorship activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the cancellation of various events, the company had to become more active on digital platforms and social media. They have sponsorship properties in running (marathons), tennis and Wintersports. The literature review should contain a full review of literature regarding sponsoring and more specifically sport sponsoring, digital platforms like social media, and COVID-19.
